About LEBER<\/h1>\n

We are a consulting firm that specialises in transport and traffic planning and their impact on urban development, the economy, urban quality of life and environmental quality.<\/p>\n

Since we started operating as a company in February 1989 we have set ourselves the goal of providing these services independently, creatively and according to state-of-the-art standards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our hallmark<\/h2>\n

LEBER Planificaci\u00f3n e Ingenier\u00eda, SLL is a consulting firm that specialises in transport engineering, traffic and mobility and which has been in business since 1989.<\/p>\n

We offer a wide range of services that are aligned with our goal of analysing and generating new alternatives for construction or management decisions and projects, designed to improve the transport system and, as a result, the quality and economic efficiency of our towns, cities, metropolitan areas and autonomous communities.<\/p>\n

Since we started operating as a company back in February 1989 we have set ourselves the goal of providing these services independently, creatively and according to state-of-the-art standards. We are also aware of our responsibility to meet the three different aspects of sustainability criteria: Economic Development, Social Equality and Environmental Respect.<\/p>\n

Out traditional line of work has been based on achieving the highest levels of efficiency in transport systems and also examining the effectiveness of the system beyond the realm of transport itself, adopting a systematic approach to identify the influence of urban development, economic efficiency, urban quality of life and environmental quality in our residential and work areas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

LEBER\u2019s business activity involves working for clients from local, county, provincial, regional and autonomous governments and private customers.<\/p>\n

  • Traffic and parking plans, public spaces, pedestrianisation and traffic calming<\/li>\n
  • Restructuring plans for urban and intercity public transport services<\/li>\n

  • Impact of traffic from new residential and commercial developments and work centres<\/li>\n
  • Demand estimation of road infrastructures -free or toll- and rail and public transport infrastructures in general, including economic and financial analyses and recommendations designed to improve their efficiency<\/li>\n

    Municipal activities:<\/h2>\n

    We have worked with a large number of local governments, most notably:<\/p>\n

    • The national prize awarded to Getxo<\/li>\n
    • The studies conducted in Bilbao, Donostia\/San Sebastian, Amorebieta, Tolosa, Azkoitia, Durango, Barakaldo, Laredo, Tudela, Murcia, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Our contributions include the following:<\/p>\n

      • We have implemented an innovative paid parking control scheme on the road, with centralised number plate control.<\/li>\n
      • We have created green waves for traffic lights, allowing the speed of traffic to be restricted while also minimising the number of stops.<\/li>\n
      • We have also led a global approach to create and improve public spaces, along with new strategic thinking and public participation plans, including our children\u2019s programme.<\/li>\n
      • We have optimised urban bus services with improved demand and lower costs for the service.<\/li>\n
      • We have prepared road safety plans, notably for the city of Bilbao.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
